Retrofit Underfloor Heating & Smart Controls
Brooks were appointed to carry out a full retrofit underfloor heating installation at a residential property in Letchworth. The homeowner wanted to remove all ground floor radiators and replace the existing heating system with a modern underfloor solution complete with smart controls for greater efficiency and comfort.
The project involved carefully removing the existing carpet and flooring before installing the new system with all works carried out in an occupied home to minimise disruption to the family throughout.

The key technical challenge was the pipework installation - routing from ground level through to the loft with the manifold positioned neatly beneath the staircase. Both required precise planning and careful execution within the constraints of an existing residential property.
Completed within a week the result was a radiator-free ground floor and a homeowner with a warmer more efficiently heated home with full smart control at their fingertips.
